After some prodding on Twitter documentary filmmaker Floyd Webb revealed some of his interview with Michael Bertiaux on vimeo.

I recently did a small piece about the film Searching for Count Dante over at the WFMU blog, check it out here.

Side note: I had lunch with Bertiaux over the summer and one of the things we talked about was Count Dante.

I moved recently, and because of this The Golden Dawn as revealed by Israel Regardie resurfaced in my book stacks. This is the book that had Regardie labeled as an oath breaker, revealer of secrets. His argument, which I would agree, is that “it is essential that the whole system should be publicly exhibited so that it may not be lost to mankind. For it is the heritage of every man and woman – their spiritual birthright.”

I came across this on Scribd, it’s an interview between Regardie and New Falcon Publication‘s Christopher Hyatt. It’s a really fascinating read, an in depth peak inside the mind of one of the great thinkers of 20th century occultism.
