We were a bit dismayed when we heard that My Castle of Quiet was being moved to a less mainstream time slot, from 8 pm Wednesday nights to midnight Friday morning. The Castle has been really good to us here at the Temple of Pei and also to a bunch of our dearest friends over the past year. Wm. Berger provided a fantastic forum for the true outer limits and psychedelic acts in this region to be heard.
Starting this Thursday, June 17/18 at the stroke of midnight, My Castle of Quiet radio is moving into its new time slot for the WFMU summer schedule. That's Thursday night for me, and Friday morning for you accuracy sticklers (the day ain't over 'til you go to bed, see.) So my new show's on Thursday nights at midnight, got it? Midnight to three a.m.
Wm. goes into it a bit more here – My Castle of Quiet: It’s Only Gonna Get Worse From Here On In, Folks.
Check out his posts on the Beware of the Blog at WFMU… all of the acts that have been on his show have been archived. And thanks Wm., I look forward to the occasional live listen and to checking out the archive every Friday morning. Also, excited for the upcoming guests – KILT (6/24), Two Years on Welfare (7/1), C. Lavender (7/15), and Hoor-paar-Kraat (7/29.)
