Neon Marshmallow Festzxzxvf

Neon Marshmallow is a pretty rad looking experimental music and noise festival in Chicago, hosted by Red Electric Rainbow’s Daniel Smith and Matt Kimmel of the DIY video site Acid Marshmallow. It’s the festival’s first year of existence, but the ambition levels are already off the charts: Neon Marshmallow features more than 90 (ninety!) bands in two rooms over the course of four days (August 19-22) at the Windy City’s Viaduct Theater, and if we can be completely honest with you right now, the lineup is kind of mindblowing. Among the artists scheduled to play are….

Looks like the Neon Marshmallow fest is starting to blipĀ  on the radar. Well, alright!

Mister Matthews and I are busy putting together ideas for our collab with Cornucopia – Noise sponsored by Barrilito rum! Between that, our gig as Telecult Powers right before Excepter, playing as Hex Breaker Quintet (our super group with Grasshopper) and checking out somewhere around 85 other sets it should be an exhausting yet rewarding weekend.
